Shop

As a child making comic books, then as a teen, I started a company illustrating for local businesses. I haven’t deviated much for forty years. I still love it. You can find most of the artwork on my website for sale in my Redbubble shop. There are teeshirts, mugs, prints, jigsaws, throw pillows and hundreds of products.

About style, I don’t want to pigeonhole myself. I enjoy newness. I can’t see myself settling on a single way of working as much as that annoys many. Playing with new ideas in new mediums is joyful, so why should I fold to pressure? Yet, there are elements that I endeavour to convey in all my work – a sense of fun, colour, pattern and texture. That should explain my Redbubble username, ‘BeQuirky’.

Does a fish need a bicycle? No, there are many brilliant commodities without which we can live. But, to treat yourself to something that gives you pleasure can’t be beat.

Redbubble is not a money-making venture for me. I would love to be creative each day and make money doing it. So, purchasing from my page will make an independent artist warm and fuzzy. If you appreciate my work and want me to create something for you, that’s fantastic. It’s easy to contact me through my shop, Instagram or YouTube channel if you’re human.

I work with Redbubble for their social responsibility. They work to protect workers’ rights and care about the environment. As a customer and an artist, they have treated me with consideration and kindness. Their products are well-made and look brilliant.

“Redbubble is creating the world’s largest marketplace for independent artists, bringing more creativity into the world. A great mission that also comes with great responsibility. To not only empower artists and foster self-expression, but do so in ethical, socially responsible ways.”
