I’m a children’s picture book author and illustrator, designer and artist with nigh on forty years under my belt. I also hold a degree in fine art and diplomas in graphic design and photography. In 2019, my daughters were two little gals. They aren’t little anymore. But they inspire me still. So, two little girls became Two Girls Creativity.
A lack of time drives me crazy with the many things I want to achieve. Wasting time is a bugaboo.
Art is a passion of mine, and I love to write. Words are fun, and reading makes the world a better place. Making music is fun, and taking photos of the world reminds me of how blessed we are. And teaching English for sixteen years means I care about that. I’m a multipotentialite.
On my site, you will find art that I create and words that I write. I encourage you to read, be kind to each other, and look after the planet.
Colour and monochrome inspire. Crisp edges and white or dark space excite also. I love texture and form. Getting messy with pencil, paint, paper, and glue is incredible. It’s easy and convenient to clean edges and enhance, and correct digital artwork. So, work is a blend of mediums.
I can’t promise a post every week. The technical drama and creative process behind the scenes on a website sucks up energy and time. I make the whole shebang with love, and it takes ages. It isn’t perfect sometimes. How can it be? I’m the father of two big gals. I wouldn’t be much of a dad if I shirked my parental duties.
